2. Can I use Nutrition Essentials to help me prepare for a personal training certification? Yes. Nutrition Essentials was written with personal trainers and other fitness professionals in mind. The topics discussed in the book were chosen because they directly relate to the types of questions and day to day issues that those in the fitness industry will likely encounter during their certification exam as well as in their careers. While the title of the book is Nutrition Essentials, it is really a sports nutrition book. As such, Nutrition Essentials, reviews how nutrition impacts exercise and reviews many topics that those in fitness need to be familiar with.

Nutrition Essentials was designed to bridge the gap between facts and the practical use of information. As such, all information is presented in an easy to understand language.

People who are interested in this topic should also get my book, Nutritional Supplements: What Works and Why. A Review from A to Zinc and Beyond. This book reviews over 100 popular supplements alphabetically and gives you a wealth of information that you are unlikely to find in any other single book.
