| Who is Joe Cannon?
Joe Cannon, MS is an exercise physiologist, personal trainer
and health educator who resides in Pennsylvania suburbs. He
holds an MS degree in Exercise Science and a BS degree in
Chemistry and Biology. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning
Specialist (CSCS) and a personal trainer certified by the
National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). For
over ten years, he has lectured about exercise, personal training,
dietary supplements and nutrition at both the local and national
levels for the American Aerobics Association International
/ International Sports Medicine Association (AAAI / ISMA),
one of the largest fitness organizations in the world.
As the Director of Wellness for a health club that ranked
among the top 100 of all clubs in the United States, he designed
and implemented groundbreaking exercise programs for a wide
range of individuals including seniors and those with special
needs such as cancer, fibromyalgia and osteoporosis to name
a few. He has a vast experience in personal training having
worked one-on-one with hundreds of diverse individuals with
a variety of special needs.
Joe is the author of Nutritional Supplements: What
Works and Why. A Review from A to Zinc—And Beyond,
that presents the documented clinical evidence for over 100
popular supplements. He has written for several publications
including, local newspapers, the Journal of Strength and Conditioning,
Today's Dietitian, Weightwatchers.com, Workoutsforwomen.com
and has been a content consultant for Dateline NBC. He is
single and in his spare time enjoys biking, weight lifting,
